This picture was shown on page 115, and depicted Anja's father crying and tearing his hair. I thought that this was very intense, but also very sad. Her father watched as she and Spiegelmann left, but couldn't go with them. In this picture, there is imagery, as you can clearly see and imagine what;s going on, and that's why it was so shocking.
     On another perspective, I chose to draw it on black paper because the situation in the book was very dark; you could the Holocaust as the Dark Ages for the jews. Additionally, I made the mouse's mother bigger and wider because he was in real pain inside. So, this is my drawing. Would you add something to it?
